The release version of our educational tool, called NeuronBench, will have the following structure:NeuronBench: The full product
Simulator. The simulator is a web application that runs in a web browser. That means there is “no server” (the simulator code is generated once and uploaded to a static site server, like a regular web page). This means we (the operators) have very little maintenance burden. And importantly, instructors and students have no software, servers, or dependencies to manage at all. When a user navigates to the website hosting the simulator, the simulator loads a default neural network and runs it. When the user navigates to a specially formatted URL (one ending in “?scene=SOME_OTHER_URL”), the simulator will try to download a configuration file from SOME_OTHER_URL and run that.
